Sending Aid to Ukraine
We collect food, clothing, toiletries, medicines, sleeping & camping gear to be sent to Ukraine by International Aid Trust.
They distribute it through a network of churches in Ukraine and neighbouring countries.

We know this aid is getting through with over 654 tons sent so far (March ’24) valued at £13.4 million.

Helping Ukrainians arriving in Sefton
Often arriving in just the clothes they stand up in and unable to speak much English.
We offer a warm welcome introduce them to other Ukrainians and provide the basics: clothing, food, toiletries and information and advice on getting benefits, schools and doctors.

Once settled they use our centre for learning English and for social and recreational activities.
It is vital that they are able to preserve their culture whilst integrating into British society.

We work very closely with Sefton Council’s Resettlement Team to support Ukrainians into work and through the transition to their own tenancies.

We support British families that host these Ukrainian guests and sometimes assist Ukrainians to find a family to live with in Sefton.
